Hesitation-Pumping Squeeze-Cementing Operation

Squeeze-cementing operation that incorporates discontinuous pumping of the cement slurry. NOTE The slurry is placed into the well, the pumps are stopped for some period of time, then a volume of slurry is again pumped. The process is repeated until a predetermined pressure is reached or the volume of cement slurry has been completely pumped.
